My 2011 Stockpiling and 2012 Direction Setting

Seeing governmental agencies, even some NGOs host events reviewing their 2011achievements, and set targets for their respective 2012 mission, I would also like to assume my own 2011 operation year, while having to direct my self, clear mission this year.

2011 marked another milestone step to immerse deeper into media world, to me I think I am not yet a professional reporter, but confident to claim that, I have learnt lots from this career, mainly in social issues. It is simply because when I attend workshops, or cover any particular topic, I learnt from those matters.

2011 reports:

Articles: I didn’t count accurately, but as estimated, about 300 articles were written, similarly to 300 topics have been grasped, making about 450 articles have been composed so far.

this time he looks at me, but I have to be superior.
Education: I already received my certificate of Bachelors’ degree of English Literature from UC, honorary conferred by Samdach Prime Minister on December, 14.

Traveling: definitely, it is one of the main reasons, I love about being a reporter, through out 2011, I visited lost of places locally and internationally, especially on free-of-charge basis.

2012 goal settings

After thinking to integrate my main goals together, I came up with clearer planning for the 2012 mission. And those intentions are:

  • I have no comment for the UCWA life, as I feel uncomfortable with it.
  • But I will immerse deeper into journalism, but transform my self to a freelance reporter, write articles to at least two publications.
  • Now I already found a Freelance job, and this year, I have to resign from my current full-time job, and seek another freelance job. By being a freelancer, I can enjoy the privilege of writing what I want, go wherever I was invited, and still work in privilege as a diplomat.
  •  Interview most of the accredited foreign Ambassadors in Cambodia, including heads of some NGOs, ministries, through the opportunities provided.
  • Since this year, Cambodia assumes ASEAN chair, I can’t miss such significant meetings, namely the ASEAN Summits, Defense Ministers talks, ASEAN plus dialogues partners, especially while US President Barak Obama, is expected to visit Cambodia in November this year.
  • This year, I expect to visit some more local provinces, and Bangkok, Thailand (March), Shanghai, China (April), and New Deli, India (August), and few more countries upon opportunities come.
  • By the end of the year, I have to prepare my self ready to apply for scholarship as, by that time, I will earn 3 years journalistic experiences, get better writing enhancement, so it should be the right time to apply for oversea education.
  • As expected, I will also receive my certificate of Bachelor’s degree of Tourism from National University of Management (NUM), September this year as well.

Finally, 2011, I cultivate much achievement, but just at a medium level, and I hope my 2012 outcomes, are rosily prosperous.

Last but not the least; I would like to wish Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen who are reading my annual stockpiling report and future direction setting, Longevity, Nobility, Health and Strength.

End of Term

  2. thanks Leng! I wish I do! but to me, too much carefree life, really weaken my leadership capacity, also kill my perseverance to the works, since freelance reporter only delight me, mean I don't have to work hard. So, also mean, I will improve little as well since there is less challenging I face.
