Who I am

Who am I?

Vutha Tim is a 24-year-old Cambodian man, born in Phnom Penh—the capital city of the kingdom of Cambodia, a small-but-beautiful nation locates in the heart of Southeast Asia (ASEAN). He graduates a Bachelors’ degree in Tourism and Hospitality in 2010 from the National University of Management (NUM), and another Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Cambodia (UC) in 2011.  Everyone can either call him Vutha (his first name), or Tim (his surname) as he feels comfortable to hear foreigners call him Tim, the American first name.

Vutha is guy with a care-free mine, wants to see things prevail, and turn in positive ways, but he is not an optimist actually. He, as having realized there is only one life, wishes to taste as many professions as possible, and so as go to as many places locally and internationally as possible. 

He is now serving as the Freelance Reporter for the Economics Today Magazine, and the Cambodian Business Review, both are the English business magazine in Cambodia. He has been in the media sector for over three years so far. Besides, selling life insurance for the Giant Life Insurer—Manulife, providing English-to- Khmer translation services, and teach English are all his freelance jobs. He wishes to rotate and taste more careers if he can.

The author, anyway, is the man that loves travelling greatly to feel diverse geography, cultures, beauty of nature, so as the tradition of the indigenous peoples who possess the sites, before such beautiful sceneries vanished out of the world.

However, he also wishes to spend life few years abroad, [could be through a Master education] to feel the culture, attractions, and more beyond his homeland, where he has been attached with for more than 25 years so far.

Vutha Tim, likes playing volleyball, badminton, going to gymnasium to stay keep fit. Surf the net, watch movies on YouTube, keep update with surrounding news, reading the bible and other motivation pieces are the common things he usually utilizes to entertain himself during the short-term free time. 

he is kind, honest, responsible, reliable, and sociable. What he says, it is in high possibility that I will do it.

Sometimes, he is cold, looks unwelcome, but please be assured that, he would like to befriend with everyone, as enemy-free world is my determined policy!

Vutha doesn't value much on wealth, but only love, family, friendship, care-free life, are the center of my life.
